Get on Food

Goal/End Product:

I want to create a digital archived for recipes and make them available to everyone. The ideas is create a sharing network available for anyone that could bring a new vision  and ideas to a recipe.

Target Audience:
 Anyone who likes or wants to learn to cook.

Experts or test group:
Chefs and food experts (wine tasters, beer tasters, farmers, etc..).        

Purpose:

The purpose of this project is create a cultural space, where you could learn about other cultures. For this I will used the food.

Objectives:

1.     Compiling recipes, later publish them (with permission) on my blog and in a magazine with issue.

2.    Compare my project with others. Check that all my resource and tools are really the best for project.

3.    Identify and contact some chef and cooking fans from around the world.

4.     Identify and contact at least 3 person from food or cook area.

5.     Ask them for a review and their opinion about project.

6.    Make corrections according to opinions and review from users and external Professionals. Evaluate the results of the discussion.

7.   Integrated at least 100 receipes, 100 videos and 200 post talking about ingredients.

   Procedure and Timeline:
Get on Food project should be star working by January 2012 version beta. For August 2012 should be available on his full version. 

Steps include:

1.     Create and develop the Get on Food base structure (collect recipes, information about ingredients, spices, etc. ..) using blog, twitter, dropbox and issuu.  (by November 2011)

2.     Keep getting all knowledge’s possible from EMTD Full sail program. (To March 2011)

3.     Compiling recipes from around the world. (by December 2011)

4.     Create some discussion themes with those recipes(Example: If Platano the best selection to make a Mofongo? Check out what Mrs. X, have to say). (by march 2012)

5.     Compare my project with others. Check that all my resource and tools are really the best for project. (by march 2012)

6.     Identify and contact three retired professors and five to ten active. Explain them about my e-learning project Beyond the puzzle. Tell them to join the discussion and give their opinion. (by april 2012)

7.     Ask them for a review and their opinion about project. 
    (April 2012)

8.     Ask for a review and opinion from at least 3 professional from food or cook area. (April –to May 2012)

9.     Make corrections according to opinions and review from users and external Professionals. (May 2012) 

10.   Evaluate the results of discussion. Make any correction that Get on Food could need for better function.  (May to June 2012)

 11. Officially working for the entire food community (August 2012)

Resources to date include:
1.   blogger - As principal resource of publish and post opinions.
2.     Get on Food blog - As reference source.
3.     Twitter - for quick and almost real time communication.
4.     Issuu - to create a recipe magazine.
5.     youtube - for upload and share recipes videos. 
7.     Olds receipes books/scripts.
8.     Dropbox. As document archive. 


Reflection: 
Keep it simple.I repeat always that. Still need work on them. I make a post of this on my blog
